iPhone Sessions

I have always had musical ideas floating around in my mind, but I never thought anything would come of them. At the start of the pandemic I had little else to do in the evenings but practice my guitar, and as the days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, these ideas and lyrics began to meld together and form song ideas.

I often shared these works in progress with my young daughter. One day I asked her what she wanted to listen to in the car. She yelled “Forget you” and began humming a melody, which was in fact the chorus of a song I wrote called “Tilikum,” and had showed her the day before. I was stunned. Another human being had my song stuck in her head.

That’s the goal, isn’t it? I hope you’ll like my music, too.
